Hi my name is Josh Angell, Owner & Creative Stylist at Hair & Halo based in Hillsborough, Auckland. I have been in the hair industry for over 13 years & over this time I have been lucky enough to have been involved with Fashion weeks/ Editorial photoshoots/ Hair shows/ Education & international competitions. I have always kept up to date with the latest trends. I have a loyal following with some clients I have been looking after for over 10 years.
A few of my biggest accomplishments so far is my work being published in Australian Vogue Magazine & winning a trip to Amsterdam to do a Master Colouring & Cutting course. Also two editorial front cover shots for Viva Magazine.
I am known to take you down a hair journey, I am very honest with what is & is not achievable with your hair. With my knowledge & expertise I will guide you to what Best suits you & your lifestyle.
In my weekends you will find me hanging out with my family, fixing something around the house or in the garden ( I am the DIY man ) or out in nature with friends or trying different Auckland Eateries.

Hi my name is Amber Angell, Co Owner/ Artistic stylist at Hair & Halo. I have been in the industry since I was 18, now 13 years later Josh & I have created this beautiful studio in our home in Hillsborough, Auckland.
I keep up to date with the latest trends and I have a lot of passion for the industry. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
I love all things hair and to create beautiful seamless blended colours. I love to create balayage, and to cut with texture or an edgy blunt cut. I am definitely very honest with what will suit you and this is why I have a very loyal clientelle that have stuck with me for many years. I have done fashion weeks/ shows & enjoy doing competition work. I keep up to skill by attending hair events & conferences all over the world. I also love doing wedding hair, up dos & styling.
In my weekends or spare time you will find me enjoying family time especially with our little boy Jacob, catching up with friends, cooking or enjoying new eateries or a good old outdoor walk.
